MOSCOW, April 17. / TASS /. Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka and NASA astronauts Andrew Morgan and Jessica Meir were flown out of the spacecraft by the Soyuz MS-15 crew, which landed earlier in Kazakhstan, 147 km southeast of the city- big Zhezqazghan. The Roscosmos website hosted a live broadcast of the event.
The spacecraft left the International Space Station (ISS) at 4:53 a.m. Moscow time. Russian astronauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner are staying at the station with their NASA colleague Chris Cassidy, who has been named station commander.
The team has returned to Earth due to the pandemic of coronavirus. All astronauts will undergo a medical examination, after which they will be transported to Baikonur. After that, Skripochka goes to Moscow, and his colleagues travel in the USA to the USA. All ground-based astronauts were tested for COVID-19.
