In the petition, filed through attorney Prof. Aviad HaCohen, Leah and Simcha Goldin claim that the Israeli government and security forces allow the movement of people and goods on a huge scale to and from the Gaza Strip, far above what is required by international law.
It is also alleged in the petition that those involved in this extensive activity are hiding the information from the public, and although they have been approached seven times during the past year demanding the disclosure of the data in this matter have not been answered.
“For more than six years, we have been surrounded by the Israeli government and its leaders, as well as members of the defense establishment, in denial and deception. There is talk of their commitment to get our sons back in their throats, but this is nothing but nonsense, behind nothing and nothing,”
“From time to time, some of them worry about ‘releasing’ statements – in face-to-face conversations with us, or in press releases – according to which ‘the release of the boys and their return to Israel is imminent,’ but reality shows that these are hollow, hollow speeches. In order to fulfill cynical political needs and to calm the atmosphere, in practice no real steps are taken, such as the obvious step: stopping all movement of goods and people, from the Gaza Strip to and from Israel, until Lt. Col. Hadar Goldin and Sgt. Oron Shaul and two civilians “Israel, which is being held by the” Hamas “judge, went, in fact, to the Gaza Strip.”
The petition reads: “Humanism and compassion are blessed qualities, but they require everything … He who seeks grace, mercy and humanity, please respect and take these measures as well. Humanitarian gestures taken in a one-way direction only increase hatred and evil on the other side, And as a result, even after more than six years, “IDF soldiers and citizens of the State of Israel, who are strengthened in the Gaza Strip, have not yet returned to their homes.”
