The former WCW Star Ice Train reveals why WWE could not have made Scott Steiner a bigger (Exclusive) Superstar

Scott Steiner, in his prime, was one of the most popular keepers around in the industry. Poppa’s Big Pump, along with his brother Rick Steiner, became one of the scariest tag teams in the late 80s and throughout the 90s.

The Steiner Brothers were a memorable tag team, but it was clear that Scott Steiner had all the tools to break out as Superstar singles. Despite his popularity and success at WCW, Scott Steiner has never made him as big as the singles talent in WWE. Scott Steiner has had two series in the WWE over the years, and it was his second run, which occurred between 2002-2004, when the WWE pushed the singles.

Did WWE lose the ship with Scott Steiner? Could the company have done a better job?

The question was asked to the former WCW Star Ice Train in the latest edition of SK Wrestling’s UnSKripted by Dr Chris Featherstone.

Ice Train said emphatically that WWE would not have been able to make Scott Steiner a bigger Superstar. Ice Train has named the Steiner Brothers one of the best tag teams of its generation. However, Ice Train explained that he was not sure if Vince would be able to deal with Scott Steiner. He goes the other way too, as it would be difficult for Scott Steiner to deal with Vince.

Ice Train said the Steiners were tough guys you wouldn’t want to work around.

An ice train explained:

“No. To be a big star, you reached, I mean, Steiners, Rick Steiner, awesome guy, Scott Steiner, awesome. One of the best tag teams ever of my generation, but no I know if Vince Scotty could have been a bigger star because I do not know if Scotty could have actually dealt with Vince. Steiners don’t make fun of you, man. They’re just dudes, country boys like me down here. They live five minutes from me to this day. “

Ice Train also noted that the Steiners, during their time at WCW, were not fans of seeing people with no experience in combat coming and getting big buttons.

“Oh, you have to remember because if it was false, they didn’t like you. They didn’t like boys coming in, like God bless David Arquette, or boys coming in, just a handful of guys who never paid their taxes coming into the wrestling industry and getting a push. That was all they had. These Steiner brothers, Man, they’re real to this day. “

Scott Steiner has not been on good deals with WWE for years as he has always been a vocal critic of Triple H, Vince McMahon, and the WWE system.

Rick Steiner ‘s son Bronson Steiner has been in the news for a while now as the NFL Fullback recently got a WWE try.

Bronson is a terrific athlete, and while he is currently on a Football career, Scott Steiner ‘s nephew wants to continue his family’ s legacy in wrestling.

Ice Train has a good knowledge of Bronson Steiner and said the young athlete would be a ‘real beast’ in combat.

“But look, Bronson is going to do well. Bronson Steiner is going to do well. That’s my little buddy. Look out for Bronson Steiner, Rick Steiner’s son. Just a really good talent. He’s one of the strongest young athletes I worked with in the gym. He’s going to be a real beast in a fight. And a big kid. “

Through UnSKripted’s live Q&A, Ice Train shared his honest comments about Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho wrestling at 61, Goldberg’s backup scene, and more.
