Second vaccine on the way to emergency approval: The FDA Advisory Committee of Experts, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, last night (Friday) recommended approving the modern company’s corona vaccine by a majority. Just two days ago, the FDA confirmed that the modern vaccine is effective, protects adults and prevents serious cases of the virus.
The FDA also confirmed previous data released by Moderna, according to which the vaccine’s success rates stood at 94.1 percent, out of 30,000 who participated in it. It was also found that side effects, including fever, headaches and fatigue, were unpleasant but not dangerous.
If approved, the distribution of about six million vaccines could begin next week and add significantly to the millions of doses already sent by Pfizer and BioNTech, the companies that developed the first vaccine against the corona virus that received emergency approval just last Friday.
