The expected move between Emoni Bates and Bronny James is back.
Originally scheduled for November 20, the match between Bates and Ypsi Prep (MI) and James and CBC (CA) is now set for 9pm ET on Jan. 9 on FS1. Green & Gold Level Sports & Entertainment supports The Battle Basketball Showcase at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The original game held in Mansfield, TX was postponed due to COVID concerns.

“Those children are not looked after so much, the children in the second level [by colleges] so this allows these children to be hired and showcase their talents. Most kids now have to do everything on Instagram and show videos. ”

The NCAA closed recruitment events over the summer due to the pandemic, and the NCAA’s deadlift period was recently extended through Jan. 1.
Green said he was partly motivated to support the event because of what happened to his younger brother, Indiana vice-player Devonte Green, who chose to play professionally in Greece this season due to “ certainly in an NBA / G-league season. ”
“He was unable to showcase his talents, so he had to play abroad,” Danny Green said of his brother.
Darren Duncan, Head of Gold Level Sports & Entertainment, said future events related to The Battle 2020 are planned for New York, New Jersey and Chicago in early 2021.
“Our priority was to ensure that we follow state guidance, and that we work hand in hand with our center to create a plan that all comfortable parties are moving forward with,” said Duncan. “As soon as we could do that, our team worked hard to put together some of the most popular games in the history of high school basketball. It is the combination of individual talent and team reputation that makes this an unseen, unmissable event. The Battle is all about competition and culture, and this year we’re raising the bar. ”
Fans have little capacity to attend, and tickets will be made while adhering to social pace measures and group pod seating. A mandatory enforcement policy will be strictly enforced, and temperature checks will be provided at the door.
