In addition, in the last few hours a picture was published of the incident, in which a police officer was seen receiving a greeting from the Rebbe of Toldot Avraham Yitzhak, the groom’s grandfather. Celebrate inside the synagogue contrary to instructions and without wearing masks.
Reports from the scene indicate that those present locked the doors and refused to allow police to enter. At one point the policemen entered the synagogue, talked to the Rebbe and asked him to disperse the incident.
As the forces dispersed the participants from inside the synagogue, dozens of participants began to gather outside the scene. They violated the order, confronted the police, threw stones at them and caused damage to police vehicles. Additional forces were called to the scene to work to fully disperse the participants and locate the wedding organizers.
At the end of the dispersal, the organizers of the event, the place holder and other people were summoned for questioning. The police again called on the public to obey the instructions, as their non-existence disrupts the national effort in the fight against the outbreak of the corona virus and its spread in Israel.
