Aside from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to Atlanta, during which Baron James sprained his ankle, in the NBA there were other games tonight (Saturday through Sunday) in which city rival Los Angeles Clippers made the list against Charlotte.
Clippers (16:27) – Charlotte (21:20) 98: 125
Paul George scored 21 points and handed out 10 assists in a convincing victory over Charlotte. Kwai Leonard with 17 points and four steals. Terence Man scored 16 points that were not enough for the Hornets.
Milwaukee (14:27) – San Antonio (17:22) 113: 120
Yannis Antocompo scored 26 points in the Bucks’ win, but the highlight was the 15 assists he handed out, a career-high comparison to the big star. Chris Middleton scored 23 points. Jero Holiday with 21.
Memphis (20:19) – Golden State (21:22) 103: 111
Jonas Valencia scored a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds, the Grizzlies improved the negative balance. Dillon Brooks with 19 points.
Philadelphia (13:29) – Sacramento (25:17) 105: 129
Tobias Harris impressed with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and helped Philly get within touching distance of his 30th win of the season.
