The judge punished Bornstein with a two-month suspension from all activity, when this period coincides with the period he has already sat and therefore he is released from suspension. Bornstein was also sentenced to 12 months probation from the association for any violation of the association’s bylaws. The judge added: “I acted with the degree of kindness with the defendant and that I say that a senior judicial staff will not act as the defendant did.”
