The Apple DOWN! Services including iCloud and Photos are hacked
- Some Apple services are experiencing torrents starting Wednesday afternoon
- There are currently several iCloud, Photos and Find My Friend services down
- The exit started around 1:30 pm ET, which hit other Apple features
- It removed Apple Music, the App Store and iTunes – but those are working
Apple is currently experiencing some disruption or outages with a number of its services.
The tech giant’s System Status index shows crashes in Photos, Find My Friend and eight iCloud services.
However, iCloud Backup is part of this group, which means that users cannot restore their devices.
Earlier in the evening users were getting a ‘slow or unavailable’ service with Apple Music, the App Store, iMessage and iTunes – but the error was fixed within two hours.
The launch started around 1:30 pm ET, but it still plagues many of the iCloud services and Apple has not said when they will be installed or what caused them to fail.
Apple is currently experiencing conflicts or partial setbacks with several of its services. The tech giant’s System Status index shows breakouts in Photos, Find My Friend and eight iCloud services
A red triangle is shown on Cloud Backup, iCloud Bookmarks & Tabs, iCloud Calendar, iCloud Contacts, iCloud Drive, iCloud Keychain, iCloud Mail, iCloud Notes, and iCloud Storage Upgraders.
Apple Photos and Find My Friend are down too.
Many of these services, such as iCloud Notes and iCloud Calendar, are the main tools for employees who use them to perform daily tasks.
However, those are just the tip of the iceberg, as earlier in the morning Apple said it noticed issues in other services around 8:26 AM ET, according to SlashGear.
And more favorable features went down – the App Store, Apple Books, Apple Music and Apple Music.

Apple ‘s Status page states that these services went out starting at 8:26 AM ET and issues were resolved at 10:43 AM ET.
There is no information on the page as to when the service will be renewed.
This is the second mishap that Apple has been witnessing in the past week, as in January the tech giant released an update to its operating system, iOS 14.4, to remove three potential security vulnerabilities. be actively used by hackers.
The tech giant released a statement on its Apple Support page showing that two bugs have been identified in Webkit, the browser engine that powers Safari and one in the main operating system, Kernel.

The Kernel flaw was defined as a ‘racial condition’ that allows malicious claims to increase benefits, but the update is being repaired with ‘enhanced locking.’
Vulnerabilities in WebKit have been corrected by better restrictions, but without the update hackers could gain access to devices ‘to cause arbitrary code execution,’ Apple says.
Apple rarely mentions issues with its systems that could be used by malicious actors in malicious activity, but the tech giant is open to receiving reports from others who find privacy vulnerabilities.
