The 470 Mixed World Championship is scheduled to take place in October 2022 on the beach of Kibbutz Sdot Yam, after a vote held just before the current World Championship. The competition in Israel will be the first in the Olympic campaign for the Olympic Games to be held in three and a half months in France.

Meanwhile, tomorrow (Monday) the 470th World Championship will kick off in Portugal, where Maor Abu and Yoav Rose will try to get the ticket to the Tokyo Olympics in a competition that is considered their last chance to do so. If they succeed, they will enter the delegation alongside the female team that has already won this card.

The men are still fighting among themselves for the single ticket to Tokyo and it will be determined not in this competition but in the World Championship.
