Toto Winner will be among the official sponsors of the Grand Slam Judo Tournament that will take place this weekend at Heichal Shlomo in Tel Aviv.

This will be the first international sporting event hosted in Israel since the outbreak of the corona plague.

According to the organizers of the competition, all athletes who come to Israel will undergo a corona examination, will be required to remain in isolation in their hotel room, and only after approval will they be able to leave the isolation. The competition itself will be held in strict accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health in order to maintain the health of the athletes as much as possible.

About 500 athletes from around the world, including the exiled Iranian judoka Said Moulay, are expected to take part in the competition, with 28 winners of Olympic medals, medals at world championships and European Championships.

Senior Israeli athletes in the industry are also expected to take part in the competition, including: Olympic medalist Uri Sasson, world champion Sagi Muki, European champion Peter Plachik, Geffen Primo (bronze at the European Championships), Inbar Lanir (European Under-23 champion) Timna Nelson Levy (winner The bronze medal at the European Championships), Gili Cohen (winner of the bronze medal at the European Championships), Shira Rishoni (winner of the gold medal at the Tel Aviv Grand Prix) and Baruch Shmailov (winner of the silver medal at the 2020 Masters). Judo is the first Israeli sport to win Olympic medals, already in Barcelona in 1992 and since then has produced additional Olympic medals, world championships, European championships and hundreds of medals in international tournaments.
