CERRITOS, CALIF. – T. Hasegawa USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Tokyo-based T. Hasegawa Co., Ltd., has acquired Mission Flavors & Fragrances, Inc., a manufacturer of custom flavor solutions based in Foothill Ranch, Calif. .
The purchase fits in with T. Hasegawa USA ‘s strategy to expand its flavor package within the dairy, bakery, plant – based options, fruit fillings and confectionery sectors, said Tom Damiano, chief executive.
“Acquiring Mission Flavors & Fragrances expands our technical capabilities and overall taste package so we can better serve our customers,” said Mr. Damiano. “We welcome their entire team, who are known for their excellence in messenger service and align with our focus on futures.”
Mission Flavors & Fragrances said it will benefit from T. Hasegawa’s experience in supply chain management.
