The Syrian news agency “Sana” reported last night (Friday) that Syria’s air defense systems were activated against an Israeli attack in the area of the city of Masyaf in the west of the country. The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the attack was carried out using a number of missiles launched from northern Lebanon. About a month ago, Sana reported that Israel had attacked targets in southern Quneitra, near the border, and southeast of Damascus. According to reports on Syrian television, the country’s air defense systems were activated and intercepted targets.
