Swedish nurse wins opportunity to watch film festival in its entirety on a lonely island

A Swedish nurse recently hit a jackpot by winning the chance to see a 60-film film festival on her own. Lisa Enroth defeated 12,000 film fans from around the world to win the finish that would now allow her to separate the Goteborg Film festival from a lighthouse on an island off the coast of Sweden. In the background of the pandemic, the prestigious film festival would be broadcast online instead of appearing regularly at cinema theaters.

‘different kinds of truth’

Enroth, who is a full-time nurse according to Skovde’s professional, had been working hard because of a coronary virus pandemic. Speaking to the BBC, the frontline health worker said she hoped to “be part of a completely different reality for a week”. Her view was doubled by the festival organizers who confirmed that they were particularly concerned about someone who could “enjoy” the film festival both psychologically and emotionally.

“We are overcoming all the applications and the worldwide interest. Out of more than 12,000 applicants from more than 45 countries, we have now selected one person who was interviewed. The chosen one is Lisa, who loves a film from Skövde who has worked hard as an emergency nurse on the front line in the fight against Covid-19 in the past year. . “

The ‘Remote Cinema’ on the island of Pater Noster is in an accessible location at the very edge of the islands in one of the most powerful, windy places in Sweden. Enroth, who told the BBC she was infected with the pandemic, would now spend a week in “complete isolation from the outside world”. Without a phone or internet, she would only record for limited times, so she could record a daily video diary. In an addendum, one other person will also be on the island for security reasons and will check in once a day. It had started on 30 January and would end on 6 February.
