Suspected murder in Samaria: Esther Horgan, 50, a mother of six, was found unconscious last night (Monday) with signs of violence by MDA and police forces in the Shaked forest in northern Samaria. Her death was determined by the medical staff.
This is a resident of Tal Menashe in Samaria, who left her house yesterday at 13:00 for a walk, and at a certain point in the night, her husband reported to the police that she had not returned home. Following the report, and the fact that no background of domestic violence is known, police forces were called to the area and launched searches in an attempt to search for her. Her friend later reported that she saw her enter the forest at 1:50 p.m.
During the search, she was found lifeless with severe signs of violence. Preliminary investigation reveals that her skull was run over with a heavy object after she was apparently attacked while walking.

Following the incident, and in light of the fact that it is in the Samaria area, large police forces arrived at the scene accompanied by a helicopter in an attempt to track down the suspects. It should be noted that at the beginning of the investigation, GSS forces were added to it, which indicates a suspicion that this was a murder on a nationalist background. However, other lines of investigation have not yet been rejected.
MDA paramedic Assaf Tapuhi said: “We were led to a place where a 52-year-old woman lay unconscious, we performed medical tests, she was breathless, without a pulse and without any signs of life and within a short time we had to determine her death.”
