Konami has revealed that Super Bomberman R Online, the spin-off of Super Bomberman R previously banned to Google Stadia, will soon be coming to Switch and other consoles.
Inspired by Bomberman R, you may remember that it was the starting title of Nintendo Switch, this battle royale game first appeared on Stadia last September. The release date for Switch has not been announced yet, although we have been told that we would expect it “soon” and that it will be a digital-only title that is free to play.

As Bomberman returns with the gameplay that made the franchise a party game – explode through battlefields, find hidden power-ups and use them to blow away enemies – action takes place the SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE explodes to new heights with the “Battle Mode 64 ”. Delivering the original battle royale experience, up to 64 players are scattered across 16 starting battlefields. As the levels are cleared and the players are knocked down, the number of battlefields decreases until the last battle like the last bomber stands.
SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE offers more than 100 custom feature combinations, including a number of costumes, costumes and, for the first time, a bomb skin – both hitting the bomb and the explosion itself. Players can further identify from the rest with the optional Premium Pack, accessing an additional 14 bomber characters that conform to classic KONAMI IP such as Gradius, Silent Hill, Castlevania and more!
