Sunmi releases feisty video for new single, ‘Tail’

K-pop singer Sunmi has returned with two new tracks: ‘Tail’ and ‘What The Flower’.

The title album ‘Tail’ features lyrics written by Sunmi, and was co-written by herself and her long-time colleague Frants, who also worked on her previous tours such as ‘Pporappippam’ and ‘LALALAY’. The lyrics to the side of B ‘What The Flower’ were written by the South Korean singer, and the song was co-written by Hong So Jin.

Sunmi has also released a festive music video for ‘Tail’, which first debuted last Monday (February 21). The singer draws inspiration from felines in the catchy clip, who also mentions the DC Comic Catwoman character.

This project is the official return of the 28-year since her 2020 solo return ‘Pporappippam’ in 2020. The singer is also famous for high-profile singles like ‘Gashina’ 2017 and ‘Siren’ 2018.

Last year, Sunmi joined JY Park on the duet ‘When We Disco’. Since then the hit song has peaked at number three on Gaon’s Digital Card and number two on Billboard’s K-pop Hot 100 card.
