The trailer for the upcoming Tamil Sulthan film was released on Wednesday. With Karthi in the lead role, Sulthan is led by Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
Judging from the trailer, Karthi plays the role of a director who has 100 strong men as fans. Sulthan’s 100 strong men seem to be a major threat to some bad guys, thus setting the stage for a prisoner-free fight.
“What happens when a man who does not believe in violence gets the responsibility to rule 100 rowdies. What will he do now? That’s the one line that made me really happy about this film, ”said Karthi as he launched the trailer earlier.
Sulthan is said to be the “greatest representation to date” in Karthi’s vibrant career. Rashmika Mandanna is also a female director, and the film marks her debut in the Tamil film industry
Earlier, there was a strong rush that filmmakers could postpone the release due to growing cases of coronavirus and upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu. However, producer SR Prabhu of Dream Warriors Pictures earlier left out saying that the film would release in theaters as announced.
“Many of our friends are wondering if we are releasing #Sulthan on April 2nd regarding Covid’s situation. So far there is no change in that decision. We’re on date! So pls Wear Mask, take proper warning and wait for the most fun on screen (sic), ”he tweeted recently.
Also featuring Lal, Napoleon, Hareesh Peradi, Ponnambalam and Yogi Babu, Sulthan is expected in cinemas on April 2nd.
