Fortunately, the team from NASA’s Exoplanet Science Institute wanted to look back at what was often abandoned as unnecessary information. Leading scientist David Ciardi has begun the phase by looking into the available data for the KOI-5Ab. After several studies using different telescopes, they have found big data and discovery.
According to an interview with Ciardi released on NASA’s official website, “KOI-5Ab was abandoned because it was complicated, and we had thousands of candidates. Building was easier than KOI-5Ab, and we learning something new from Kepler every day., until KOI-5 was largely forgotten. ”
What is very interesting about this new discovery is that KOI-5Ab is trapped in a triple star system, which means that the planet revolves around three stars.
