Stories from the Borders are apparently coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

A new leak has revealed that Telltale Games has a storytelling experience Stories from the Borders soon coming to next-gen platforms. At this point, the team at Telltale and the gamekeeper at Take Two Interactive have not yet confirmed this information, but with the way it has been released, it seems that but a little while until we learn more.

Gematsu was the one who discovered these details and discovered that PEGI, which is the game’s rating board in Europe, had Stories from the Borders for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S sometime in December. The listing for this next edition of the game is still up on the PEGI website but not every detail makes sense. In particular, the game is said to be releasing on next-gen platforms on December 18, 2020, which has certainly come and gone already.

So what exactly should we make of this listing? Is it valid or is this just an accident? Well, it’s always hard to say for sure, but any leaks that tend to come from ranking boards prove that they are right more often than not. Of course, there is only 100% history for these things if PEGI is rated Stories from the Borders for PS5 and Xbox Series X, well, there’s a good chance we’ll have a formal announcement coming soon.

As for when that news might come, any time honestly would make sense. Since this is just a port to next-gen platforms with a rather old title, Take Two Interactive doesn’t have to mention anything with any kind of gravitas. A formal publication with a short release later would make the most sense in this case.

If so Stories from the Borders announced anytime soon for PS5 and Xbox Series X, we’ll definitely let you know in the future. Until then, you can continue to follow our ongoing broadcast here on ComicBook.com.
