The 12th round of the Italian league ended tonight (Thursday) with the game between Rome and Turin, which ended in a 1: 3 victory for the team from the capital. Thanks to these three points, Paulo Fonseca’s team climbed to fourth place in the Serie A table, only four points away from the leading AC Milan.
The scorers were Henrik Mkhitaryan (27), Jordan Verto (Pendel, 43) and Lorenzo Pellegrini (68), three of the players who also scored in the 1: 5 victory over Bologna in the previous round. For the Armenian this is the seventh league goal of the season, while the French with six and the Italian with two.
On the other side Andrea Blotti is the one who shrank in favor of Torino, but her fate was pretty decided after the early red card of 19-year-old Wilfried Singo, who picked up a second yellow in the 14th minute.
