Stephen Kings Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption out as a stand-alone book

One of the most iconic stories by acclaimed author Stephen King, ‘Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption’ is now a stand-alone book. The story, which was adapted into an Oscar – nominated film, was part of a 1982 collection released.

Renowned author Stephen King “Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption”, a story of unfair imprisonment and escape that was the basis of Oscar-nominated “The Shawshank Redemption”, is now available for the first time as a stand-alone book.

“Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption” is seen as one of the King’s most iconic stories, and helped make Castle Rock a place that readers would return to again and again.

This suspicious, mysterious and heartbreaking novel, in which this novel, with a host of insecure characters, is about a strong criminal named Andy Dufresne who seeks ultimate revenge.

First published in 1982 in the collection “Different Seasons” (along with “The Body”, “Apt Pupil,” and “The Breathing Method”), it was adapted on the big screen in 1994. By Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins, was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

This new book is published by Hodder & Stoughton, a Hachette reprint.

King has written more than 60 books, including “If It Bleeds”, “The Institute”, “Elevation”, the short story collection “The Bazaar of Bad Dreams” and the Bill Hodges trilogy “End of Watch” , “Finders Keepers”, and “Mr. Mercedes”.

Many of his books have been turned into films, television series and streaming events.
