Steph Curry handles Austin Rivers ’effort in the first half

After dropping 36 points at a high on an 11-of-21 shooting from the field against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, Steph Curry looked in for more hoops on his day off.

There were only three games on the NBA slate for Tuesday, marked by a matchup between the Utah Jazz streaking and upstart New York Knicks. The Knicks were able to jump out on a 13-point lead in the first half behind Austin Rivers’ off-the-bench performance.

The old guard recorded 25 points on a 10-of-10 shot from the field in 12 minutes. The Duke’s result was perfect from outside the arc, knocking down five times on five attempts. Rivers gained 18 points in the second quarter alone.

After going scoreless in the final 24 minutes, Rivers finished the tournament with 25 points high on a 10-of-14 shooting with three rebounds and 27 assists.
