Stephen Curry opened the preseason just getting 10 points on a 3-of-10 shot from the field against Denver Nuggets. After his first preseason tour, Curry kicked back, scoring 29 points on an 11-of-21 shooting from the field against the Kings.
To put a bow on the 2020 preseason, Curry and the Warriors made the short trip to Sacramento for a final tune with the Kings on Thursday.
It looked like Curry would be tied up for a quiet night, starting the game shooting just 2-of-10 from the field. While there was no Curry jersey, the point guard showed off his quarterback skills with a pair of long-distance passes to Andrew Wiggins breaking down the court.

As the second half began, Curry’s scoring power turned.
In the third quarter, Curry exploded for 16 points on a 6-of-10 shot from the field by three points-3.
The full offensive arsenal of Davidson’s production was evident in the third quarter. Curry scored the ball from outside the arc and inside the row. With Curry in the belt, the Warriors pushed to the lead with a double figure over Sacramento, entering the fourth quarter.

Curry finished the tournament scoring 29 points at the top of a 9-of-23 shooting from the field with six boards, three assists and two leads in 28 minutes against the Kings.
After an extended offseason that included a nine-month layoff from an action game, Curry averaging 29 points in consecutive preseason games after that is a positive sign for the Golden State point guard.
Curry and the Warriors now travel to New York for the 2020-21 season opener against Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets.
