The boys’ team tonight (Saturday) defeated the Slovakia team 0: 3 in the European Youth Championship qualifiers and will face Hungary tomorrow (Sunday) when a victory will lift Gil Riv’s young team to the next stage. The girls team lost 3: 0 to the Hungarian team and tomorrow (Sunday) will face the Austrian team in a game for fifth place.
Gil Reeb, Coach of the boys’ team, pleased with the improvement trend: “First international victory of this amazing team that is getting better from game to game. We are very proud of them. Tomorrow we will face the Hungarians for promotion to the next stage and hope to continue to show good ability and win.”
Tomer Rusiansky, The coach of the girls’ team responded to his team’s loss: “Unfortunately we lost for the second time, when the problem is with meeting the strong opening blow of the European teams. In the other parameters the girls manage to cope better and mostly improve from game to game. “High and especially to play as much as possible against strong teams so that we can improve. In addition, it is important to note that the team feels well the strong back wind coming from Israel that encourages us and gives us strength to continue working hard in any situation. Adi Tadmor, The assistant coach of the girls’ team: “We started the game well, but we did not manage to maintain that ability for a long time and the Hungarians took control thanks to an excellent refusal. In the third set we saw an improvement in our game, but again we lost in a close set. We will prepare for the important game tomorrow, hoping to end the tournament with a victory. “

Nazareth – KK Tel Aviv 0: 3 (21:25, 22:25, 21:25)
