Startbia Spacebase unusually letting you down to a busy space station and instantly urging you to manage everything from air quality to beauty to food production to entertainment – all at once. Even if you are familiar with resource management and simulator games (and especially if you are not), it is a daunting task.

It’s easy to get out of control – even the classes trained on our palms. It took a few hours, but we finally learned to be a capable spacebase commander.

Here Startbia Spacebase beginners guide, we will help you through your first hours, sweaty palmed with seven tips that stood our hand. We’ll talk about what you learn from tutorials, how to decide what to pick up next, manage your staff, and use blueprints to meet the needs of your guests.

Trust the process and play the classes

Startbia Spacebase there is a long process on board with tutorials and some simulations to slowly introduce concepts and mechanics. It will take several hours before you play a situation where everything is unopened and available – this happens in the fifth stage of a campaign “The first contact. ”

Do not pass the process. The early classes and settings will teach you how to have your spacebase (and Startbia Spacebase) working. Starting with limited options means learning the basics and understanding how each new concept builds on the last. Even if you are familiar with resource management and simulator games, this will give you time to learn how this particular one works.

Look at your goals to decide what’s next

It won’t take long to play Startbia Spacebase before your spacebase is very busy and complicated. Aliens run around with meeting needs and assignments for jobs, rooms and facilities for construction and maintenance, and three floors of a space station each with their own purposes and purposes.

All that business … so busy? serves a purpose, however. In any given Startbia Spacebase campaign level, your goals are helpfully displayed in the top right corner of your screen. Don’t get caught up in the minutia of visiting monsters’ lives. You are here to work.

Focus on your next goal, take the next step, and keep moving forward – “forward,” no matter how vague, is much more directed than letting yourself be swayed all sides at once.

You can’t please everyone

Every few minutes enter Startbia Spacebase, all your visitors will give you feedback (in the station ranking menu) about how nice, clean, entertaining, or how beautiful the spacebase is. Seeing disgruntled visitors is unpleasant and unattractive. Basically for your first several hours in Startbia Spacebasehowever, your first priority should be your goals, not your rankings.

There are basic needs to meet rooms like beats and medical stations (more on the ones below), but you are safe to take a more spartan view as your helpful (“helpful” AI). Yes, you should air filters (freshener on) when strangers complain about the atmosphere, but you shouldn’t waste the resources, time or new floor to make sure every inch of your spacebase is pristine. Like we said, you are here to get the job done. Your ranking is nice (and, to a lesser extent, important), but the work comes first.

Use blueprints to build rooms (don’t start from scratch)

When you start a level of Startbia Spacebase, you will be given an empty floor to fill. Some things are stand-alone structures that serve a function – like an obscure cost station to power your robot staff. Other services such as facilities and doctor’s offices need to be built in rooms.

When you select a room from construction schedule, you will have a choice between free build or choose a plana-gorm. Free construction means you put each part individually – choose a place to put it aside (with walls), set up doors so guests can get in and out, and then stock indoors with appliances to meet needs (such as showers or food utensils). Choosing blueprints means you just need to set up a pre-prepared room with all the interiors already.

You need to have more important things than putting all the chairs in a doctor’s waiting room. To make you (much, much) more comfortable with the interior views and run out, just run the blueprints. Leave the design inside for later.

Look at workload before you expand

For rooms – especially rooms like beats no medical stations – a workload stat on their info pan. This is a measure of how full or large the room is.

If a room’s workload is low – below 50% or so – know that your guests ’needs are covered and you don’t have to expand for a while. If you start to see long lines outside rooms or see a workload of more than 100%, you know it’s time to build a second site or medical station.

Don’t try to anticipate every need and event. Instead, use the information you have – such as workloads and monsters standing in long lines – to guide your expansion decisions.

Hire more staff than you need

In Startbia Spacebase, there are rooms for visitors. to meet do management needs as a spacebase commander, you build structures that generate resources – like a recycling center that turns waste into energy – and hires monsters (in this case, telgors) to work there.

Always hire more monsters for work than you need. For example, the recycling center has four workplaces for staff. But your employees are just human… er, just a stranger ?, and have their own needs like sleeping and eating. That means you need about three (or more) more staff than workplaces if you want to keep those workstations full at all times.

This links back to our advice on workload above – it’s more efficient to have one recycling center than two to run just part of the time. Hiring and paying workers is also much cheaper than building a new structure. And it saves on valuable properties.

Your goal is to be hands-free

Kind of a good thing Startbia Spacebase a commander is not a micromanager. Instead, they hire and build so that the spacebase runs automatically. Ideally, other than occasional emergencies, there is little for you to actively manage.

Your job is to work towards a goal by building the spacebase in levels. These levels correspond to the classes and the first few levels of enterprise.

For each of these levels, you get to a place where the station is largely independent. Help could moving around by hand picking up every piece of garbage you can see, or you could a waste bot that does it automatically. That trash bot walks the trash to the recycling center if you follow our advice above, there are enough staff to run on a regular basis.

At the same time, the medical centers and stations – which came pre-designated – are running efficiently because you checked their workloads, so you don’t have to managing the expectations or complaints of each visitor.

As awesome as a busy spacebase looks and feels, the tools you need to keep it going are smooth. And then, if you have the extra time, energy, and sympathy, you can pick up another air scrubber so that people stop complaining about lack of oxygen.
