Legendary actor Liam Neeson told Collider.com that he would return as Qui-Gon Jinn in one future Star Wars project if asked to do so.
What’s up?
Neeson appeared as the famous Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn in the prequel trilogy “Star Wars”. Jinn was the master of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the film. He was later killed by Darth Maul in the famous battle of lights at the end of “The Phantom Menace. ”
Neeson said he didn’t know fans wanted to see Qui-Gon Jinn back in “Star Wars,” but would be open to returning. In particular, he might be interested in returning to the Disney + “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series.
- “Yes, I would be up for that, yes.”
Other mythical characters to return?
In 2019, there were some reports that Joel Edgerton, played by Owen Lars in the prequel trilogy “Star Wars”, could return to the show as he lived on Tatooine at the same time as Obi-Wan. Kenobi, as I wrote about it for the Deseret News.
- “I was caught today by Joel Edgerton (check out THE KING! I really enjoyed it),” Josh Horowtiz tweet at the time. “I have almost no doubt based on how inevitable it will be in the Obi Wan Disney + series. I saw a lot of actors fleeing for fun. I bet Owen will be back. ”
There are rumors that Darth Maul may also appear in the “Obi-Wan” series. He appeared briefly in the animated works of “Star Wars Rebels”.
We know that Darth Vader will be appearing in the new show, bringing Hayden Christensen back to the “Star Wars” universe.
