Spider-Man: No Way Home is the official title of Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man: No Way Home – that’s the official title for the upcoming Spider-Man 3, star Tom Holland revealed in an Instagram video Wednesday. The new, realistic title comes behind three fake titles (Spider-Man: Home Phone, Spider-Man: Home Slice, and Spider-Man: Home-Wrecker) that were deceived by Spider-Man: main team No Way Home Tuesday. How difficult those titles were. It could be tea for the film’s heterogeneous concept, and a dunk on Holland’s tendency to release things (which Instagram video also makes fun of). But the new title is not much better, as many have said.

The main problem is that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are trying too hard to keep “home” in the title for Holland ‘s Spider-Man run. And for all its worth, it was well with the previous two. The standalone remake series began with Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, followed by the sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. “Homecoming” featured the return of Peter Parker ( Holland) to Brooklyn, New York after spending time with the Avengers in Berlin in Captain America: Civil War – and the fact that the film ended with a return home dance, an American high school tradition. “Far From Home” played on how Parker found himself in Europe, far from his home.

I’m sure Spider-Man: No Way Home also has a narrative justification, perhaps again referring to the heterogeneous idea. Holland is reportedly going to include Spider-Man 3 Electro Jamie Foxx from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Alfred Molina’s Octopus Doctor from Spider-Man 2 from 2004, and there will be cameos from Spider -Previously: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Holland’s Parker, along with his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), are likely to travel the heterogeneity – unable to find a way home that doesn’t lead to death, or something like that. But “No Way Home” isn’t just an engaging title, and it really pushes the moniker “home”.

The video features Spider-Man: No Way Home touching on the final piece, showing us a whiteboard full of title suggestions. One of them says “Webcam”, with the notes next to it reading “home needs” (and “keep it PG!”) – so it’s official, Holland Spider- Being a “home” man. On the whiteboard are a handful of other suggestions that fans have been floating quietly for months – with notes. Home on their own? “Copyright issues.” Stay at home? “Stop. Hard pass. Moving home? “Stop.” Work from home? “Try Nooooo.” Want to go home? “We’re already there.” Home world? “Race.” Or a place like home? “Trademarks.” Home? “Too cutesy.” Home Sweet Home? “Full.” Home-school? “Aunt May says no.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated to release December 17 in theaters worldwide. Holland’s Instagram video doesn’t say though, it just says “this Christmas”.
