Four days after the game’s release, the game’s developer released a post apologizing for the game’s performance on previous generation consoles. “We needed to pay more attention to how the game works on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.” The company also apologized for the obvious, in that it never showed how the game ran on these consoles, thus not allowing consumers to decide for themselves whether they were willing to pay $ 60 for a game that would not run well on their console.

The company has pledged to fix the bugs and crashes, and has announced that two major patches will be released in the coming months. Sony has launched a dedicated page, including in Hebrew, in which it asks the person who purchased the game to connect with his access details to PSN, and submit a request for a refund. “Once we have verified that you have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund,” the page said.
