Additionally, to control its Apple TV, Climan invented a custom ROM that emits remote signals through the Game Boy Color infrared transmitter. To do this effectively, Climan had to get over GBC’s standard Intel 8080 / Zilog Z80 processor.
He then went on to assign infrared codes to each button on the console thinking there was an effective way to control the Apple TV. For aesthetics, it also added an Apple logo that pops up on the screen when the ROM is launched. The only question we have now is where do we get one of those bad boys?
