‘We urge Congress to take responsibility in counting the election votes, the Trump administration to make an orderly transition for the incoming Biden administration, and the all of our elected officials to expend the energy to combat the pandemic and support our economic recovery. ‘
Meanwhile the Partnership for New York City said: ‘This primary election has been decided and it is time for the country to move forward.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have won the electoral college and the courts have rejected challenges to the election process.
‘Congress should confirm the election vote on Wednesday.’
With Biden set to be installed on Jan. 20, Trump is stepping up efforts to halt traditional power shifts.
On a call issued Sunday, he is heard urging Georgia officials to find him ‘11,780 votes’ since the November 3 election he lost in that state.
