Back in July, Microsoft added a feature called Together Mode to its Teams workplace messaging app. The device uses AI-powered rotation technology to put everyone in a video call in one virtual place. Even if you don’t use Microsoft Teams, it’s very likely that you’ve seen Combined Mode work. The NBA turned to the feature when it tried to recreate a full range feel without any fans physically present. It has quickly become one of the features of the app pavilion, and, as The edge points out, it is now making its way to Skype.

With the latest version of the app, you, your friends and family members can pretend you’re all in the same place – as long as there are at least five participants in the call and access to it. -everyone on a webcam. The nifty thing here is that you don’t have to install Skype on your computer to take advantage of the feature. You can access it through the platform’s web client, and as long as one person has an account, they can invite everyone else through the Meet Now link.
