Sky Above Canada lights up blue as Meteor Shoots pass by

Incredible photographs show the moment that saw a bright meteor light up the sky in blue as it flew over Canada.

The amazing epistemological event was captured on camera in Alberta in the early hours of Monday morning.

Photos captured on home security cameras show the skies turning a deep shadow of blue as the meteor flows through the skies.

Resident Joe Speer told Global News he was driving to work when he saw the skies light up.

He said: “It definitely woke me up, I can tell you that.

“I was so lucky to see that. You rarely see that.”

“I’ve seen shooting stars before. I’ve seen different things, but I’ve never seen something like that.

“So it was really cool to see that.”

One expert even believes that fragments of the meteor could have been made to Earth.

Geoff Robertson, former president of the Edmonton Center of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, told Leatherbridge News Now the meteor was apparently about the size of a refrigerator and may contain some small pieces to live since he fell to the ground.

He told the news outlet: “Looking at the videos, I saw flashes as it came down, showing that it looked like it was breaking.

“So I’d say maybe some of the pieces made their way down eventually, landing on the ground somewhere.”

It also states that if anything is found from the meteor then it could be used to help gather more information about the meteor.

He said: “Whether it’s an iron meteor or a ‘stony’ meteor, and if they get enough data they can trace the original orbit of the meteor around the sun and find out where it came from e. ”

While Dr. Patrick Hill from the University of Alberta said that City News is also optimistic that cookies could be out there somewhere.

He said: “That usually takes a little longer because we’ve modeled brightness through computer models.

“We also need to look at the falling meteorite to see if anything is working.

“Hopefully in a day or two we should have some information.”
