The 21st round of Serie A continued tonight (Saturday) with four games, when at the center of Juventus jumped to third place and narrowed the gap from Inter and Milan above it, thanks to 0: 2 over Roma. Before that, the evening opened with two dramas, after Torino came back from a three-goal deficit to make it 3: 3 against Atalanta, and Spezia beat Sesotho 1: 2 after a reversal. In a game that locked the Italian evening, Genoa scored a surprising 1: 2 home win over Napoli.
Juventus – Rome 0: 2
The fight for the championship in Italy is becoming increasingly close and tense. Milan and Inter are the top candidates at the moment, but the reigning and formidable champion figure Yuba must not be eulogized. The old lady overtook Roma on the way to third place, and she still has a game in hand. This is also her third consecutive victory.
The one who scored first is, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese star, who only celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday, allowed in the 13th minute a good cooking from Alvaro Murata. It was the Spaniardβs seventh touchdown this season in the league, the most of all the strikers, and four of them reached CR7. In the 69th minute, Roger Ibanez da Silva doubled with an own goal.

Genoa – Napoli 1: 2
Big surprise at Luigi Ferris. The host continued its trend of improvement with a fourth win in five games (a draw against Atalanta), beating Gennaro Gattuso’s side. Due to the loss, Napoli remained in fifth place and failed to beat Roma’s loss to Juventus. Genoa, on the other hand, rose to 11th place after a terrible season opener.
In the game itself, veteran Goran Pandev (37) scored a double already during the first half after cooking by Milan Badley (11) and Micha Zajic in the 26th minute. Napoli still managed to come back in the 79th minute with a goal from Matthew Politano, but not beyond that.
Atlanta – Turin 3: 3
After the loss to Lazio, Jean-Piero Gasparini’s side were very close to winning again, but managed to drop a three-goal advantage, and as usual, did so in a multi-goal game. In fact, for the first time since its 0-3 win over Fiorentina in mid-December, Atlanta finished a game with three goals and did not win. All of her last 8 wins have been with at least a trio into the opponent’s net, and in the other games in between in which she has scored less, she has not won. This sequence was interrupted today.
The hosts started strong, and Josip Ilicic (14), Robin Guzens (19) and Luis Muriel (21) with a goal in the eighth game in a row, set up 0: 3 in seven minutes. However, Toro did not give up. Andrea Blotti (42) and Bremer (45 + 1) shrank before the break, and Federico Bonazzoli set up a dramatic 3: 3 in the 84th minute, en route to a fourth straight draw for Torino.

Sassuolo – 2: 1 option
After three consecutive losses in all competitions, Vincenzo Italiano’s team recovered with a reversal against Sesotho, which has not tasted a victory taste since January 6th. Francesco Caputo gave the hosts the lead in the 25th minute, but Martin Erlitz equalized before the break (39), and Emanuel Giasi made a comeback in the 78th minute.
