Shigeru Miyamoto was hosting the latest Nintendo Direct, which was all about Super Nintendo World Park in Japan. It opened with the legendary designer jumping out of a pipe. Thank you, Nintendo for this ‘Shop Contest’ gift.

I was planning to compete on a holiday theme, but then Nintendo gave me this, and I had to do it. And no, I didn’t plan on doing carp competition, you’re weird. Keep that shit on Twitter.
And to help you all out, here’s Miyamoto from the pre-cut Direct. Consider this my Christmas gift for you all. I’m glad none of you got me anything this year. Very rude.

Please note that the image insertion rules have changed only slightly. We are now looking for images that are 800 pixels wide!
How to apply – Instructions
1. Create your Store and save it to your desktop. Images must be at least 800 pixels wide.
2. Go to the bottom of this post
3. This will bring up a comment window. Click “Select File” if you are uploading your store from your desktop
4. Alternatively, you can upload the Store to a free image hosting service. I recommend imgur. Then enter the URL of the image into the field that says “Image URL.” Note: this must be the URL of the image itself, not the page where it is displayed. That means the URL ends in .jpg, .gif, .png, whatever.
5. Add an editor statement and hit enter and your image will load. If not, upload the image to imgur and enter the URL of the image as comment. I’ll take a look at it.
6. Large images may not upload properly, although we have seen some animated .gifs up to 5 MB. If you still have trouble uploading the image, try to keep the maximum size (horizontal or vertical) below 1000 pixels, or the whole thing below 2 MB.
