In the incident in question, which took place last night during an operational activity, police officers noticed a group of suspects firing at a house. The police tried to arrest the suspects, who in response opened fire at them with automatic weapons. Following this, the police returned fire and hit the suspects.

A preliminary police investigation tonight revealed that one of the suspects was killed and the other was injured. Two civilians were also injured during the exchange of fire. One of them was killed and the other wounded. According to Arab media reports, the killed civilian is a student named Ahmed Hijazi who happened to be in the area.

Following the incident, the Tamra municipality convened an emergency meeting in which the chairman of the joint list, Ayman Odeh, also participated. A demonstration began in the city and the police set up checkpoints to prevent the suspects from escaping.

In addition, at least one suspect fled the scene, and police launched a manhunt for those involved in the incident. It should be noted that two M16 weapons were used in the arena, with which the shooting took place.
