Shocking: He threw an older man onto the road and was run over by a matron

The Prosecution Division of the Israel Police filed an indictment this morning (Monday) against a resident of Haifa, who allegedly pushed a passenger who got off the matron due to an argument between the two and seriously injured him. The police opened an investigation about two weeks ago upon receiving a report of a Haifa resident who was seriously injured as a result of a fall towards the matronly route in Haifa.

A quick investigation conducted at the Haifa police station led to the arrest of a city resident in his 20s, on suspicion of pushing the victim towards the matron’s travel route.

The indictment filed in the Haifa Magistrate’s Court states that on January 13, when the victim, a 70-year-old Haifa resident, was traveling in a matron, according to the suspicion after an exchange between the victim who was about to get off the matron and the suspect who blocked his way with his bicycle. The matron and fell down towards the matron’s track that had meanwhile begun its journey. As a result of the fall, the victim was seriously injured and sought medical treatment at Rambam Medical Center.

The suspect’s detention was extended from time to time and this morning, as stated, the Prosecution Division of the Israel Police filed an indictment against the suspect and a request for his detention until the end of the proceedings for the offense of assaulting a beard causing serious injury.
