Sexual harassment and cocaine: Arrested a footballer from the National League

Police revealed a noisy party at a hotel in Tel Aviv over the weekend where police found a suspected cocaine substance when one of those present, a national league footballer, sexually harassed the policewoman and was arrested. It should be noted that the police dispersed the party and fined the spenders.

Israel Today also learned that when the police entered the apartment, they noticed many passers-by in the place without masks and in blatant violation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. The police smelled a strong odor of drugs and a search found the suspect substance as a cocaine-type drug weighing about 17 grams that fell from the pants pocket of one of the passers-by and the police arrested him.

The suspect, who plays in the National League, vehemently opposed his arrest and even sexually harassed the policewoman with a statement of a sexually explicit nature.

Afterwards, the police dispersed the party, arrested the suspect, in his 20s from Or Akiva and fined the passers-by for violating the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. The suspect was brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court for a hearing on the extension of his detention, so the court ordered his release on restrictive guarantees, including house arrest for 5 days.

Appealed the decision to the district court which upheld the release decision. The court granted the request of the suspect’s defense counsel and ordered a ban on publishing the suspect’s details.
