Unlike the rest of us, the Seventeen K-pop group doesn’t work from home. In their first television program in the US onwards Kelly Clarkson Show today, they played one of their TikTok tracks worthy of the “Left & Right” dance. Pushing the boundaries on a business foot, they appeared in an obscene place among printers and water cooks, and attended the unique mix of rap, dance, and layered concerts. The group visited another location left empty-handed by the work-from-home seizure, wrapping up their performance on a set of underground stations. Whether or not this makes you miss your daily commute, like the song the person next to you blasts through their headphones, “Left & Right ”stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
For those of you who aren’t into the K-pop buzz, here’s what you need to know about Seventeen: The boy band debuted in 2015, and their song “Left & Right” was released in 2020 on their EP with the title Heng: garae. Despite the name, there are 13 members in seventeen, but they are called Seventeen because they are made up of 13 people who break into three subgroups and then reunite together. as one large group (13 + 3 + 1, quick math). These subgroups include a hip-hop unit, a vocal unit, and a performance unit, each combining the rap, singing, and dance skills of the members. Now you can continue working from home, hovering “Left & Right,” or maybe draw your attention to making fancams.
