Seth Rogen’s first book to hit bookshelves in May

Actress-writer Seth Rogen is ready to start his first book Yearbook, which will be published on May 11th. Listed as a collection of “true stories and essays”, the book is published by Penguin Random House.

Rogen, 38, shared the news on Twitter Wednesday night. “I wrote a book called ‘Yearbook’. Real stories and essays and stuff I hope you think are funny. It comes out in May, but if you like you can order now. Yay! ”The multi-hyphenate character wrote as he shared the link to the book.

In a statement from the publisher, Rogen’s mother, Sandy, described the book as “not a memory” but more like a “handful of funny stories”, which USA today. “He talks about doing stand-up as a kid (I sent him to all his shows!), His grandparents, high school, moving to LA , meeting some celebrities, things like that.

To be honest, I wish there was less drug talk, ”said Sandy. “Why does he need everything? It’s like ‘We’ll get it!’ And some stories? I mean, they’re entertaining, but I was surprised that they happened and never told me! ”She said.

Rogen, a Canadian-American actor, began performing stand-up in the rural town of Vancouver, and moved to Los Angeles to star in the Judd Apatow series. Freaks and Geeks when he was only 16.
