Following their successful collaboration Taki Taki, DJ Snake and Selena Gomez have teamed up for ‘Selfish Love’. The music video was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rodrigo Saavedra, who features Gomez as the owner of a colorful, supernatural hair salon. The bilingual single, in Spanish and English, will be included on Gomez’s upcoming Revelación EP, which will be released on March 12th.
For most of the video, Selena wears a floral dress in eighties style chosen by stylist Kate Young, as she works on a fisherman’s beauty parlor, with hair curtains, dancers covered in wallpaper and play mannequins.

DJ Snake told Rollingstone, “With the whole world separated I kept watching and working only on really good vibes. I wanted to make music for the world and mix all my favorite influences on Afro Beat, Latin music, something that felt established and organic. Selena and I had been talking and after ‘Taki Taki’ we had to take another tour of the world with new summer vibe. Which made it feel like summer the first time you heard it. ‘Love Selfish’ came naturally to us and I think this is the perfect evolution for our history together. ”
The single is Gomez ‘s third Spanish track of the year so far, after things started with’ De Una Vez ‘in January. The song was her first Spanish single in ten years and was quickly followed by ‘Baila Conmigo’, by Rauw Alejandro.
