The Israeli team will try tomorrow (Sunday) to mark the first V in the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign against the well-known Scotland team. The team from the kingdom held a concluding press conference today, ahead of the important meeting that will take place at Bloomfield Stadium, when its coach, Steve Clark Did not lighten the head of the opponent.

“This is a good team and its value must not be underestimated,” the coach clarified. “We respect it and it could be seen in the previous meetings that this is a dangerous team. I expect a game similar to the previous meetings between the teams.”

“They have great depth in the roster and they can make many changes just like us,” Clark added. “If we create enough situations and put pressure on Israel, I believe we will be able to score goals, but in our house each team can beat the other.”

As you may recall, Scotland also opened on Thursday without a win, after finishing 2-2 against strong Austria, thanks to a spectacular number from John McGuinn in the 85th minute. It should also be noted that Willie Rotensteiner’s team met the Scots no less than three times in the previous year, when Israel lost 1-0 at home and finished 1-1 away in the League of Nations, and also suffered a painful loss on penalties in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
