The 30th round of the French league came to an end tonight (Sunday) with a big reminder from Paris Saint-Germain that sent a message to rivals at the top – I am the champion. The team from the capital saw Lille lose points (surprising 2: 1 to Nim) and knew they needed a win to return to the top and did so with a great 2: 4 against Lyon.

Lyon – Paris Saint-Germain 4: 2

As mentioned, the guest came to give a reminder of her ability, and especially Killian Ambape who celebrated with a great duo at the expense of the third in the table that remained unanswered. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are in first place with the same points balance as Lille (63) but with a much better goal difference and are therefore first after 30 games.

The celebration began in the 15th minute with a goal by Ambape, who simply refuses to stop this season and all this while the club is working on renewing his contract. In the 32nd minute Marcinius cooked for Danilo the third and Di Maria was with the fourth in the opening of the second half (47). Ambape’s show continued 5 minutes later with the duo from Marco Verratti’s cooking. In doing so, the Frenchman reached 100 goals in the league when he was only 22, a phenomenal milestone. Islam Suleimani (62) and Maxwell Korna (81) sweetened the pill and prevented defeat, but not the loss. The one who returned after the injury was Neymar, who replaced Ambape in the 70th minute.

Lil – Nim 2: 1

A super surprising result that finally as mentioned brought Paris to the top of the table. The host who was first on the eve of the round came complacent and the guest who is below the red line and fighting for her life in the league celebrated with three super important points among the edges. Musa Kona set up an advantage for Nim (12), Shaka Izen (20) but Reno Ripar set up an expensive and surprising victory for the visitors (45).
