Samsung Introduces Four New Laptops For 2021

Galaxy Book Flex 2 Mobile (Samsung Source)

Samsung has unveiled four new laptop models for 2021 as part of the 2021 Galaxy Academy event held in South Korea, with 3 Galaxy Book models coming with the Intel Evo standard and an up-to-date Notebook model. Among the new models you can find theGalaxy Book Flex 2 and-Galaxy Book Ion 2 They come with a 13.3 or 15.6 inch screen, Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G With a 13.3-inch screen andNotebook Plus 2 With a 15.6-inch screen.

Although this is an official announcement, Samsung has not revealed the full specifications of the new mobiles. The new Galaxy Book Flex 2 mobile will come in a 2-in-1 configuration with support for the S Pen and a 13.3 or 15.6-inch screen. In both cases the laptop will come with Intel’s 11th generation Tiger Lake processor and internal SSD storage in a PCIe 4.0 connection, while the 15.6 – inch model will be able to come with a dedicated GeForce MX450 video card. The mobile will be available in Black (Mystic Black) or Bronze (Mystic Bronze).

Galaxy Book Flex 2 Mobile (Samsung Source)

Compared to the regular model, the Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G mobile will come with only a 13.3-inch screen, when it will be the company’s first model with a built-in 5th generation connection, and like the other models, it will come with an Intel Tiger Lake processor, additionally equipped with a 13 camera “Rear” megapixel for standard photography and will be available in silver (Mystic Silver) only.

The mobile is identical on paper to the Galaxy Book Flex 5G, which was announced in September as part of the new wave of Tiger Lake mobiles, but it is not entirely clear whether it is the exact same mobile or an updated version of it.

The Galaxy Book Ion 2 comes as Samsung’s new ultra-thin and light model in white (Mystic White), with a 13.3 or 15.6-inch screen, while the 13.3-inch model comes in a thickness of only 12.9 mm and weighs 970 grams. That the two mobile versions will share a similar specification, the 15.6-inch version will come with the option of expanding memory and storage and a dedicated video card from Nvidia.

Mobile Galaxy Book Ion 2 (Samsung Source)

The latest model, and the only one that does not come from the Galaxy Book series, is the Notebook Plus 2. It comes with a 15.6-inch screen as the cheapest model but also the most powerful of the new models, with the option to upgrade memory and storage in addition to a dedicated video card GeForce MX450 or GeForce GTX 1650Ti. The mobile will be available in Pure White or Mystic Silver.

The new Galaxy Book mobiles will be available for pre-order in Korea starting December 21 as part of the company’s 2021 Galaxy Academy event, with availability starting January 1, 2021:
