Samsung Galaxy M51 starts getting Android 11 update – Mobiles News

NEW DELHI: Samsung’s consumer electronics giant is offering smartphones across price ranges. Along with this, the company also ensures that the users get to experience new software on their devices.

Samsung is one smartphone maker that pays attention to software updates. In the last few weeks the tech giant has released Android 11 updates for more than 20 smartphones and now Galaxy M51 is the new smartphone to go on this list.

Samsung has started releasing the Android 11 update for their big battery smartphone – Galaxy M51. The company launched the smartphone last October and was the first to come with a 7000mAh battery.

The Android 11 update will also bring Samsung’s One UI 3.1 to the smartphone. Along with this, the handset will also receive a security badge for the month of March 2021.

The update comes with firmware version of M515FXXU2CUB7 and users can check for the update manually by going to Settings> Software updates.

With the Android 11 update, Samsung Galaxy M51 users will be able to experience features like basic screen recorder, enhanced media controller, native smart home control, one-time access to apps, security configuration via Google Play and some other.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 comes with a 6.7-inch Infinity O display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass cover on top. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor.

The smartphone comes in two versions – 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can expand the storage by adding a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy M51 sports a rear-view camera setting that includes a 64MP main sensor with LED flash, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with f / 2.2 aperture.

As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is supported by a 7000mAh battery. The smartphone comes with a rear charging capability and support for a fast charge of 25W. The company claims that the smartphone can fully charge in less than 2 hours.
