Samsung has announced theGalaxy Chromebook 2, The company’s newest Chromebook in 2-in-1 configuration, runs Google’s Chrome OS, which for the first time in its category incorporates a 13.3 – inch QLED screen and a significantly lower price than the previous generation.

Despite its name, the new Galaxy Chromebook 2 is not a sequel to the Galaxy Chromebook, Samsung’s premium Chromebook that was announced in early 2020 with a price tag of about $ 1000, but a simpler and cheaper version of it. Similar to the original model, here too you will find a 13.3-inch screen, but this time it is not an AMOLED screen but a simpler QLED with only Full HD resolution, which offers touch pen support that is not included in the kit, and includes an integrated 720P HD webcam.

Under the hood you can find a processor up to Core i3-10110U, along with up to 8GB of memory and SSD storage of up to 128GB. Although this is a decrease in specifications compared to the previous generation, the use of the lighter Chrome OS system is not expected to cause problems even with the simpler specifications of the new model.
