Salah’s links with Barcelona & Real Madrid were torn apart by the Liverpool Rush legend

The famous Reds striker is unable to present much in Jurgen Klopp’s regular squad making its way through the revolts at Anfield

Conversation about Mohamed Salah with his head turned by Barcelona or Real Madrid shattered by Liverpool legend Ian Rush, with a fertile presence from the time the Reds expect one to stay in the future.

Profitability around a terrestrial presence at Anfield has emerged amid a pilot campaign for ruling Premier League champions on and off the field.

Salah has kept the rumor mill going by admitting that his future could lie away from Merseyside, but Rush can’t see a dramatic turn coming soon.

What was said?

“I think Liverpool have a wide appeal,” said Reds icon Rush, who scored 230 goals for the club over two spells. HorseRacing.net.

“Teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid, like Liverpool and Manchester United, have a history, and being linked to any of those clubs makes it one hell of a player but for me I think Mo Salah stays at Liverpool.

“The fans love him, he loves the fans. The Premier League is the toughest and toughest league in the world.

“When you look at Barcelona and Real Madrid, Juventus and Milan in Serie A, where else can you find a league where the top team will have the upper hand, as Sheffield United beat them? on Manchester United? That could only happen in the English Premier League. ”

What has Salah said about his future?

The Egyptian leader told AS in December 2020 when asked about his plans: “I think Madrid and Barcelona are two major clubs.

“Who knows what will happen in the future, but for now I’m aiming to win the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again.”

“Of course I want to break records here and, I will again, the whole club records, but everything is in the hands of the club.”

Since then he has tried to prevent Merseyside from being talked about by telling TV2 in January: “If you ask, I say I want to stay here as long as I can, but as I said before, it’s in the hands of the club.

“I always give 100 per cent to the last minute I’m in this club and I want to win as many prizes as I can, and I want to give 100 per cent to the people, who show me that I love all the time. ”

Will Salah stay in Liverpool?

The 28-year-old is tied for a contract at Anfield until the summer of 2023.

Liverpool have struggled to put together a Premier League title defense this season, with Jurgen Klopp already throwing in the towel, and there could be changes to the cards.

The Reds would be happy to see Salah as part of that process, as he has scored the target 117 times through 185 appearances, but it remains to be seen what future transfer windows will bring.
