Former Maariv screenwriter and journalist Lior Dayan praised her: “One day when she was reading articles and seeing news, I noticed that my grandmother had called many people. I asked her – what’s the matter? She explained to me that there were children in the Palestinian Authority who had never seen the sea. She arranged for them to move and the next day 11-year-old children arrived by bus. After a while, I personally had a child, and when people who do not have a child ask me what is the difference between a person who chooses not to have children and a person with children, I ask them – say, you once went to show Does anyone have the sea? Get to know the sea? And in that sense, Grandma knew the sea to so many children who could not know the sea. She was the parent of so many children“.

In addition, a wreath on behalf of the widow of Yasser Arafat, the former chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Suha Arafat and her daughter Zehava, was placed on the grave of someone who worked hard to bring Israelis-Jews and Palestinians closer together.
