Rust Console Edition release date for PS4, Xbox One announced

Double Eleven is on the deadline for final announcement Rust Editing Console. Since the Editing Console announced in March, longtime fans of the game have been waiting on the edge of their seats for this release date news. Thanks to publisher and developer Double Eleven, we know now Rust Console Edition is set to hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 21st. Even better, players can start pre-ordering the game already.

Rust Editing Console released in three different stages. Double Eleven has partnered with global publisher Koch Media on the project for Day One Special Edition, which will be available at select retailers for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Per Double Eleven:

  • Rust Standard editing and Rust Day One Corporate Edition ($ 49.99 USD) “includes the base game, with a preorder bonus that includes a future Weapons and Tools Pack. Survivalists look at nab physical edition of Rust they can also reap this benefit with a Day One pre-order from GameStop and Amazon in North America.
  • Rust Deluxe Edition ($ 59.99 USD) “Welcomes Survivors with a Named Welcome Package ($ 14.99 Value) that includes the base game, three days of early access, closed beta access, maintenance branch access and the introduction of a future Weapons and Tools Package.
  • Rust Final edit ($ 79.99 USD) brings the features of the previous two editions to the most advanced fans but it also includes a final / updated version of the Welcome Pack, 1100 Rust Coins ($ 10 value), and an Elite Combat Skin Pack so you can look as threatening as newcomers and veterans as possible.

Rust following players waking up on a mysterious post-apocalyptic island of 100 other players with a swarm of crumbling industrial monuments and proving scientists. Players wake up with nothing but a rock and a torch in their hands, just to discover the hard way that the only way to survive the nightmare is to survive at all costs. In Rust, players have to curb clothes, find food, build shelter, conquer the elements of nature, and ultimately live on an unfamiliar island with no rules in sight. The brutal survival game was created by Facepunch Studios and was first released for Microsoft and macOS in December 2013, with a full release in February 2018. Since then, it has gone on to become a ‘earning excellent criticism and consumer ratings across the board.

South Mark, Chief Operating Officer at Double Eleven, explains that Rust Console Edition aims to run more smoothly and even on consoles, says in a statement:

Rust there is no doubt that it is a game for the weak; however, one thing is for sure fans like it. Rust Console Edition will be released to PlayStation and Xbox One on May 21st. Until then, fans of the game can enjoy the new trailer below and make sure to pre-order.
