Royal Dutch Shell sells sales of non-operating assets in MalaysiaKUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Royal Dutch Shell PLC unit said it is considering selling its pledges in two production share contracts that do not operate off the coast of Sarawak state.

In a statement on Friday, Shell Malaysia said the decision to consider disinfection options is part of Shell Group ‘s strategy to increase focus and competitiveness in its upstream industry.

The Baram Delta EOR and SK307 product sharing contracts are operated by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, a unit of state power company Petronas. Sarawak Shell Berhad has a 40% equity interest in Baram Delta and 50% in SK307, with Petronas Carigali holding the rest.
